The North West Essex Conservative Party is pleased to announce David Sadler as its candidate for the Saffron Walden Division in the May 2026 County Elections. David is also standing for the Saffron Walden Audley Ward for Saffron Walden's Town Council.
Commenting on his selection, David said:
"As a lifelong resident of Saffron Walden and with upcoming changes to local government, my priority is to ensure strong representation and focus on key issues like maintaining rural bus services, fixing potholes, and upholding public service standards. My record shows a commitment to championing local concern and I aim to put Saffron Walden and our villages first—working hard for residents without making unrealistic promises or attacking opponents."
In terms of David's experience he has previously served as a Saffron Walden Town Councillor from May 2007 to May 2019 and as an Uttlesford District Councillor from May 2007 to May 2015.
David has also previously been Deputy Mayor of Saffron Walden (2015-16), Chairman of Recreation and Playing Fields (2007-08), and Deputy Chairman of Uttlesford North Area Forum (2007-08).
David currently works full-time at Shire Hill and has experience in human and civil rights organisations.
He is now seeking to stand for the Conservative Party and to help further the interests of residents right across Saffron Walden.
